Whitney (formerly East Las Vegas) is an unincorporated township and census designated place (CDP), in Clark County, Nevada, United States. The estimated population was 42,973 at the 2020.

Whitney is primarily a residential community of hard working people. When Interstate 515 was built it was not close enough to help out the business community. Reasonably priced homes can be found here, with easy access to many jobs throughout the valley.
